AirGeoX provide UAV Helicopter and Multicopter Airborne Geophysical surveying (aeromagnetics) utilising the long endurance UAV heavy lift platforms and cesium magnetometer.

UAV Payload/Data Quality Capabilities:

  • Multiple payloads simultaneously

  • HD 24MP RGB camera

  • HD Hyperspectral and thermal camera

  • High sensitivity Magnetometer

  • Other payload options - ask about custom integration

  • UAV Helicopter has more than four hours of continuous flight plus reserves, UAV Multicopter has 2 hours endurance - payload /fuel mix dependent

  • 7 Kg overall payload / fuel capacity

  • Helicopter MTOW 17Kg, Multicopter MTOW 20Kg

The AirGeoX GX9 Helicopter, fly's faster than the Multicopter which  makes for a reliable and versatile airborne geophysical surveying platform to get the job done up to 300 line km per day quickly and efficiently. Carrying multiple sensors, ensures data can be more accurately combined in GIS mapping software by capturing imagery/magnetics sharing the same GPS co-ordinates and flight telemetry parameters.

AirGeoX tow a custom highly sensitive cesium magnetometer by cable.  An autonomous terrain following mission profile flight, keeps the sensor to a fixed relative altitude above the terrain increasing accuracy.

Missions are conducted by AirGeoX & UASA staff.

Exploration activities are a significant and growing component of the economy, AirGeoX, has targeted this industry for the use of advanced UAV aeromagnetic survey utilising industry leading lightweight, high resolution magnetometers.  See more here for information on aeromagnetic survey Here

Some Geological samples found in exploration activities are shown below.

Colourful Minerals

Topaz_Water_Worn

Topaz is used as a gemstone in jewellery and is a hard gemstone.

Pure gold is soft and is usually alloyed with other metals, such as silver, copper, platinum or palladium, to increase its strength. Gold alloys are used to make jewellery, decorative items, dental fillings and coins. The amount of gold in an alloy is measured with a unit called a karat.

Sphalerite is used for industrial purposes in galvanized iron, brass and batteries. The mineral is also used as a mildew-resistant element in certain paints.

Microcline_Amazonite

Microcline is used for industrial purposes in the manufacture of glass and ceramics. Well shaped crystals, especially those of Amazonite are cherished by mineral collectors. Amazonite is also used as a gemstone, and is polished into beads, cabochons, and ornamental figures.

Azurite was ground and used as a pigment in blue paint as early as ancient Egypt. Through time, its use became much more common. During the Middle Ages and Renaissance, it was the most important blue pigment used in Europe.

Azurite
Scheelite

Scheelite, calcium tungstate mineral, CaWO4, that is an important ore of tungsten. It acquired commercial value in the 20th century when tungsten became used in alloy steels and electric-light filaments.

Opals are generally used in jewellery or as ornaments. These opals are bought for their colours and designs.

Opal
Sulphur

Sulfur is also used in the vulcanization of natural rubber, as a fungicide, in black gunpowder, in detergents and in the manufacture of phosphate fertilizers. Sulfur is a vital element for all forms of life. It is a component of two amino acids, cysteine and methionine.
